    1. We collect on your information and survey responses behalf of your program, which we always mention in the survey. Your survey answers will not be tied to your personal information.

    2. We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties.

    3. We use your information to manage our business operations. For example, we use your information to authenticate you when you sign in to the app, to prevent loss and fraud, and analyze our business operations and app performance.

    4. We combine all the information we collect, other than information relating to your browsing history.

    5. We share information with our affiliates who may be outside of Canada and who may be subject to laws that are different from those in Canada.

    6. We use third parties to assist us in our operations. We share your information with these third parties in order to conduct our surveys and create forms.

    1. The Preference Center allows you to change your communication preferences regarding push notifications and other alerts.

    2. You can close your account if you want to withdraw your consent from our further use of your information. We will retain information about your previous responses for audit purposes, to ensure the integrity of our data and to fulfill legal requirements.

This Privacy Notice is effective as of October 1, 2020.


This Privacy Notice governs our personal information collection practices for the following app and online applications:


  • What Personal Information Do We Collect?


Personal information is information that identifies you or that could be combined by us or our service providers and affiliates with other information to identify you. This includes information like your name, e-mail address, home address, home telephone number, personal cellphone number, occupation, place of work, education and work history, or image, and can include your age, income, or other similar information when associated with you. Personal information collected can also include whether you have opened our e-mails, or how you have used our app. We do not collect location-based data.


If you are a business customer or prospective business customer, personal information does not include your title, business address, and business telephone number.


In general, we may collect the following information about all visitors to our app, to measure and improve our site:


  • Technical information, such as usage details, IP addresses, and information collected through cookies and other tracking technologies;

  • Device information such as the device type, browser type and version, operating system and platform, the resolution of your screen, browser language settings, which site you came from, and your searched keywords;

  • Your interaction with the app, including page visits and frequencies, page response times, and your interactions with the page;


We also collect personal information from you when you create an account, take a survey, communicate with us using our online forms, or otherwise submit personal information to us. Your program may receive disaggregated data regarding survey respondents. Disaggregated data is pieces of information that are separated from the rest of your personal information, and therefore cannot be used to identify you.


Some surveys may be used for research purposes. Your information will never be used in an identifiable way in our research.


You have the right to request a copy of your personal data from us, to be provided within one month of the request. You also have the right to request that we correct or complete any personal information that you believe is inaccurate or incomplete.


  • How Do We Use Your Personal Information?

We use your personal information:


  1. to register your account;

  2. to authenticate you when you log into your account;

  3. to analyze data and responses submitted through surveys

  4. to carry out our obligations and enforce our rights arising from any contracts with you, including to comply with legal requirements;

  5. to communicate with you regarding customer service issues;

  6. to protect the security or integrity of our websites and our business; and

  7. for any other purpose, with your consent.


You have the right to request that we restrict or stop processing your personal information, under certain conditions.


  • How Long Do We Retain Your Personal Information?


We retain your personal information only for as long as required to perform the purpose for which it was originally submitted. Personal information will be deleted and securely destroyed when it is longer required, or if you request it. We are obligated to retain some records as required by law.


  • Regarding Children and Minors


We require that any user under the age of 18 get their parent/guardian’s permission to use this app, and to fill out our surveys.


  • Storage Outside of Canada


Your personal information may be used or stored by us or our service providers outside of Canada. We require that our service providers safeguard your personal information. However, if your personal information is used or stored outside of Canada, it will also be subject to the laws of the country in which it is used or stored.


  • Do We Disclose Your Personal Information to Others?


We share your personal information with our service providers who process your information. Our current survey platform is Typeform. To view their privacy policy, please visit their website at: We require our service providers to keep your personal information secure. Unless you have provided specific consent, our service providers cannot use or disclose your personal information for any purpose other than providing the services on our behalf.


We may transfer any information we have about you in connection with a merger or sale (including transfers made as part of insolvency or bankruptcy proceedings) involving all or part of our business, as part of a corporate reorganization, stock sale, or other change in corporate control.


We may also disclose your personal information where we have reason to believe that it is relevant to an investigation of a breach of the laws of Canada, a province or territory of Canada, or a foreign jurisdiction, and we are legally permitted to do so.


  • Law Enforcement Requests


We will disclose personal information without your knowledge or consent if we receive an order, subpoena, warrant, or other legal requirement issued by a court, tribunal, regulator, or other person with jurisdiction to compel disclosure of your personal information. If we receive a request from a police officer or other law enforcement agency for access to your personal information in the course of an actual or potential investigation, our policy is to require the police officer or law enforcement agency to obtain an order, subpoena or warrant, unless the information is urgently required to prevent serious bodily injury or serious damage to personal property.   • Preference Centre


If you register for an account, you have the option to choose what notifications and communications you receive from us. You can edit your push notification preferences and modify your information by logging into your account.


You can also choose to log out and delete the app at any time to remove it from your phone. "close my account" and we will remove your account information from active use. If you do not re-activate your account within 180 days[A10] , we will permanently delete your account. Please note that we still maintain information that you provided to us for audit purposes or to comply with our legal obligations.


  • How Do We Protect Your Personal Information?


We take administrative, technical, and physical measures to safeguard your personal information against unauthorized access, unauthorized disclosure, theft, and misuse. We implement passwords and graduated levels of clearance to limit employees’ access to, and use of, your personal information. We take physical precautions to ensure that the computer servers on which your personal information is stored and archived are secure, and that access to such servers is protected. We educate our employees on their obligations to protect your personal information, and we require our affiliates and any third-party service providers to take comparable steps to ensure the protection of any of your personal information that is shared with them. Please note that we do not publish all of our security measures online because this can reduce their effectiveness.


Although we take precautions against possible breaches of our security systems, no company can fully eliminate the risks of unauthorized access to your personal information, and no app is completely secure. We cannot guarantee that unauthorized access, hacking, data loss, or breaches of our security systems will never occur. Accordingly, you should not transmit personal information to us using our app if you consider that information to be sensitive, or legally privileged.

We do not have any control over third-party websites and do not provide any guarantee that the privacy practices of those websites meet our standards.
